Our Prefects on Retreat - Gasparee Island

On Tuesday 27th March, our Prefects participated in an overnight Retreat on Gasparee island facilited by Mr. Hererra and Ms. Reyes. Three interactive workshop sessions interspaced with reflection time were well appreciated by our boys. Of course, fishing, swimming and cooking all their meals were also part of the pleasant experience!

"Calypso Growth" The 7th Annual B.B.S.S. Calypso Show

On Wednesday 14th February 2007 we had arguably the best ever calypso show in living memory at Belmont Boys' Secondary.

With a multitude of contestants, a professional band of musicians, lively sound system, and an appreciative audience of students, staff, and guests, the show was quality entertainment from start to finish.

A highlight of the show was the presentation by the Drama Department (Ms. Reyes &Ms. Inniss) of Traditional Mas characters splendidly portrayed by our Drama students:

Belmont Boys' Secondary/BELEX 2nd All Inclusive Fete Saturday 3rd February 2007


Hundreds turned out to our premiere fund raising event of the year yesterday, and from the photos, it's easy to see that a great time was had by all!

A well stocked food court was complimented by a free flowing bar, with the music of Surface, Roy Cape All Stars, Black Stalin, Iwer George, and other artistes keeping the dance floor moving for six hours.
