Inter Class Football returns to BBSS

After a considerable lay off, Inter Class Football has returned as a lunchtime feature at BBSS. Organized by the Prefects, each class from Forms 1 to 4 fields their talent for the fierce competition before large crowds of supporters. Great entertainment on show, embellished by microphone commentary from the boys themselves.
Today we highlight action from the 3S (yellow) vs 3O (white) game of 05 06 07

BBSS in Parish Family Day Sunday 27th May 2007

1: At work manning the stall
Our School Prefects together with a select group of Form 2 students together with Ms. Pierre answered the Parish's call to successfully organize and run the Hoopla Stall at the Family Day this Sunday at St. Martins Girls' School.
Again, a sign of our commitment to our community of Belmont!

Our New Wall Starts!

Our iconic front wall, a Belmont landmark (for sixty, seventy years?) was demolished today Sunday 27th May 2007 to make way for a totally new structure.

1: The old wall in 1965

The old wall was deemed unsafe, especially after the earthquakes of October 2006 that caused great cracks in several places.

2: Down and out

3: The shed too!

4: Protective fencing going up

Our new wall/waiting shed/mini cafeteria and sliding gate should be in place by the end of this term.
