Holding the trophy in the centre was one of the stars of our school team, a young gentleman and current national Olympic hero by the name of...Marc Burns!

The year was 1967, the place was the Queens Park Oval, and the event was the 800m final at our BBSS sports. The superb athlete on the left just pipping his second place rival was no other than Mr. Albert King, who is even more famous some 41 years after as our highly successful Athletics coach and esteemed senior member of our teaching staff today.
